When teachers are supported,
students thrive.
Lindsay Astor Grant, MA, OTR/L
Pediatric Occupational Therapist • Executive Function Specialist • School & Classroom Consultant
I am a pediatric occupational therapist and the founder of Learning Redesigned, where I partner with schools and organizations to create learning environments that support executive function skills, regulation needs, and whole‑child development. I’m known for my clear, practical, collaborative style, blending my clinical expertise with a warm, accessible approach that helps educators build classrooms where adults and children can think, move, regulate, and thrive.
With more than 25 years of experience, I’ve supported thousands of students, educators, and families across Los Angeles and nationwide. My work includes professional development workshops, classroom design consultations, educator coaching, and parent education on topics such as Executive Function, Sensory Integration, Classroom Design, Movement-Based Learning, and Motor Development.
I’ve spent my career in classrooms, beginning with the Los Angeles Unified School District. After serving as a Supervising Therapist for the District’s Occupational and Physical Therapy Department, I founded Children First Therapy in 2007, working directly with students, families, and teachers. In 2018, I launched Learning Redesigned to engage directly with schools and childhood organizations to build learning environments that truly support the whole child.
I’ve been a keynote speaker for early childhood conferences and a guest lecturer at USC, UCLA, national education conferences, and schools across the country.
I earned my B.S. from Northwestern University and my M.A. in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California. I live in Los Angeles with my family.
